2013 Season Updates
Welcome to the 2013 Youth Football and Cheerleading season. Although Spring appears to be hiding still and spring sports are barely underway, the process of Football and Cheerleading registration has begun. As most of you know the Football and Cheerleading program are now separate entities and over the last few weeks a lot of positive and exciting changes have occurred. The Football Board and the Cheerleading Board will be working together the entire 2013 season and we are very excited at this new arrangement. Although the process is still underway we are happy to announce that Sara Pilalas will be the President of the new Cheer Program, along with Heather Leff (Treasurer), Kristin Achorn (Vice President), Kara Thompson (Secretary) and Aleta Scully (IT Coordinator) serving as Board Members.
For the 2013 Season, registration will be handled just as it has in the past. Football players and Cheerleaders will still be registering through the same system (see link below). Although both Football and Cheerleading will not start until the week of August 12th for the older kids and August 19th for the younger (second through fourth grades), we have to complete the registration process as soon as possible. For Cheerleading the deadline to register is through May 1, 2013. For Football the deadline is June 1, 2013, although ideally we would like to complete the process by May 15th. The Cheerleading Deadline is a final deadline that cannot be extended due to the uniform ordering process. Therefore please sign up as soon as possible.
