Online Registration for the upcoming season is now open. The cut-off for registration at our regular fee ($200/Football, $125.00/Cheerleader) will be May 15th this year due to a league imposed deadline. Recently, at the OCYFL January meeting, we were informed by league officials that all towns must now adhere to this mandatory registration deadline. We are asking that you register your player or cheerleader before this date so we can be in compliance with this new rule. After May 15th, a late fee of $20.00 per registration will be imposed.

The main reason the league has decided to implement the earlier deadline is due to the fact that towns must commit to JV and Varsity programs so High School Athletic Directors know well ahead of time our fall schedule and plan accordingly to prevent conflicts. Evidently, there were several scheduling issues over the last few years due to dropped JV programs and the league must now take this action. We know the spring is a busy time with other sports and their financial commitments but, this is truly out of our control.

We also ask that you spread the word to any parents of possible future players so they are aware of the deadline as they would not be in our data base. Online Registration is now open for your convenience. Please click here if you wish to access our registration site at this time. Thank you for your cooperation.

Also, it is very important for coaches, parents, and players to review and adhere to the Norwell Youth Football Code of Conduct set forth by the Norwell Youth Football Association. This includes staying at a respectful distance (off the field) during practices, scrimmages, and games as this is distracting to the players and to the coaches. To view the full Code of Conduct please click here.

Click here to view or download the Whalers 2009 Super Bowl DVD slide show presented at the banquet. To order a DVD copy please email Jim Sifflard with your name and address. We also ask that you make a $10.00 contribution to Norwell Youth Football by clicking here.
