Clippers 6
Hull 20

The Clippers played a tough Hull team in the first round of the play-offs last night and unfortunately came out on the losing end 20-6. We congratulate the Clipper players and coaches on a great season highlighted by several key wins over their arch rivals.

Raynham 20

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity teams this weekend.  The JV guys have come so far this year and they showed grit in beating a larger East Bridgewater team  24-6…and, although our varsity team lost 20-18 to D3 Raynham,  we are very proud of the effort and heart that they displayed.   I believe that we are really coming together at the right time!!!!!   On to the playoffs. (Coach Stanley)

Week 7 Game Results:

Clippers 48
Pembroke 6

The Clippers had a clean sweep this weekend. The JV team defeated D1 opponent Barnstable 8-0 to break into the win column. The key play was a fumble recovery deep in Barnstable territory by Josh Fortin. That led to the only score of the game. The varsity Clippers continued on their roll to the playoffs with a impressive 46-8 win over divisional rival Pembroke. After starting the season with 4 losses the Clippers have turned it around and won three straight holding their opponents to 20 points in those wins... Bring on Raynham!!!!!!

Hull 6

The Clippers are putting it all together at the right time of the season as they roll over Hull 40-6. The offense was unstoppable and the defense dominate as they cruised to the much needed division win. Well done!

Whitman 22

The Clippers battled a tough Whitman team on Sunday right to the end but came up a little short losing 22-14. Down in the first half the Clippers were able to come back with outstanding play on both sides of the ball and kept the game tight to the final whistle.

Week 1 Game Results:

Clippers 6
Rockland 27

The Clippers faced Rockland, a tough Division three opponent , on Sunday and came out on the short end of a 27-6 score. Rockland dominated the first half with three touchdown drives. The Clippers did not quit and played the Bulldogs even up in the second half. Peter Riccuiti and Bobby Brooks starred on a 70 yard fourth quarter drive, with Riccuiti powering into the end zone as time expired.

This level is comprised of players primarily ranging from age 13 to 14 years old. To play Clipper Football (Midget) you can not turn 15 prior to November 15, 2009. The weight limit of this level is 160 lbs. If you have any questions on the program you can email Clipper Head Coach George Stanley .
