This was a battle in the trenches as both teams slugged it out right down to the final whistle. Credit the offense for putting up the points needed and once again the shut down defense keyed the victory. Your motto of "Out Work, Out Hustle, and Finish" was never more evident, and that is exactly what you did.
Congratulations to Drew Bubier for his game saving tackle that earned him the shovel award. This game was filled with individual exploits but, as you did all season, you also played together collectively as a team and we can now call you CHAMPIONS! Congratulations to Coach Robbins and the entire squad. You scored 213 points and only gave up 46 points all season. Remarkable! Click here for your season game results.
Week 9 1st Round Game Results:

Whitman 8
From the first whistle the Clippers set the tone with some smash mouth football on offense and shut down defense. Complete game from start to finish. Congrats to Jack Marsico for earning the shovel award this week with his play on both sides of the ball. The Clippers have worked hard for 13 weeks to get to this game. It has paid off as you are Super Bowl bound. You've got some work to do to reach your ultimate goal. Good luck against Abington!

Dennis-Yarmouth 18
The Clippers traveled down on a Wednesday night to face a tough Division 3 Dennis-Yarmouth team. At game time it was in the 40's, perfect football weather. The two teams battled in the first half with each leading at one point. In the second half however, the Clippers defense showed their toughness and clamped down on DY while the offense exploded with several scoring drives which keyed the 39-18 victory. Chris Holland even kicked an extra point which is pretty rare in youth football. Congrats to Jarrid Cardalino for earning the shovel award this week for his great play on D and his impressive blocks on the offense. Clippers finish the season at 6-1-1. Great job. Good luck next week in the playoffs.

Silver Lake JV 0
Great job by the Clipper JV who went undefeated on the season. This was a tough battle against a Division 2 team. They went toe to toe with the game going right down to the wire. Both teams had opportunities but, credit the respective defenses for not allowing any points. Great finish.
Final record 6-0-1.

Abington 8
Clippers absorb a tough road loss on a day that penalties and missed opportunities were hard to overcome. Give credit to Abington for making the most of their opportunities. Time to get back to Clipper football. Reduce penalties, protect the ball, execute, and finish! Congrats to Alex Ferguson for his leadership on both sides of the ball and earning the shovel award this week. Good luck against DY.

Whitman 0
Solid effort from start to finish. It is always tough to play the same team two weeks in a row. The Clippers set the tone from the opening kick-off and never looked back. Once again the Offensive and Defensive lines were dominate in the trenches and the linebacker core was relentless in their pursuit of the ball carrier. Congrats to Pete Thorbahn, shovel award winner, for his solid play at safety and two touchdowns on the first two plays from scrimmage. Good luck playing Abington on the road next week!
Clippers JV 12
Rockland JV 0
The Clipper JV dominated this game from start to finish against a tough Division 3 Rockland. The Offensive, behind QB Jake Calnan, a solid line, and core group of running backs put the points on the board and the Defense smothered their opponent relentlessly. Great job!
Week 5 Game Results:

Whitman 0
Solid effort from start to finish. A well balanced offensive attack put the points on the board and the Defense shut down a tough Whitman team. Great effort for the last regular season home game. Congrats to Nate Lewis for his leadership at the MIKE postion and earning the shovel award this week. Good luck playing Whitman on the road next week!
Week 4 Game Results:

Hanson 12
Clippers got down early 12-0 against a tough Hanson team but, fought back late in the ball game to earn a tie with 47 seconds left. The defense was solid in the second half and the offense started their comeback with less than 9 minutes left. Parker Kent was the standout as he ran for two touchdowns and earned the shovel award for his stellar play throughout the game. Congrats to the whole Clipper team for this character building effort as they never gave up and still remain undefeated. Good luck next week against Whitman!

Hanson JV 0
Clippers JV rack up another win as they remain undefeated. Solid play on both sides of the ball keyed the win. The boys are getting better every week and their execution of game day adjustments continue to make the difference. Nice job all around. Good luck next week against Pembroke!

Solid game from start to finish. The Offensive line opened the holes and the backs did the rest! Defense was once again a dominating force. Clippers played smart and maintained their intensity throughout. Sticking to their motto of out work, out hussle, and finish clearly won the game. Congrats to Chris Ferraro on earning the shovel award as the top defensive player for this week. Great job and good luck in your game against Hanson!

An efficient well balanced offense and a smothering D propelled the Clippers to the victory. It was a true team effort! Congratulations! Congrats to Mark Sigwart for earning the shovel award as the top defensive player this week.
