Schooners Season Ends
The Schooners lost a tough play-off battle to Hanson 22-0 last Sunday. They fought hard the whole game but in the end the powerful Hanson team was just to much to handle. Congratulations to the entire Schooners squad on a great season. The coaches are very proud of the progress every player made this year and look forward to a great season next year. Job well done Schooners!

Hanover 22 Schooners Varsity 6
Schooners varsity started out slow last Saturday night against a tough Division 2 Hanover team but picked up the pace in the second half with some hard hitting football. It was a solid effort on both sides of the ball in the final two quarters but in the end it was too much of a lead to overcome. This ends their season with a 1-6-1 record. This was good enough for a playoff berth next Saturday November 1st (11:00 AM start) at the Norwell High School field. Good luck Schooners!

Schooner JV 18 Dennis-Yarmouth 12
Schooners JV ended their season they way they started...with another solid win. They played very well throughout the game and after being down at one point 12-8 were able comeback for the win.  The JV schedule is over and the coaches would like to congratulate all the players for a remarkable season as they compiled a 5-1-1 record…great job.

Hanson 18 Schooners Varsity 0
Schooners varsity lost a tough one today to Hanson 18-0. Only down 6-0 at half time the Schooners kept it close with great defense. They had their opportunities throughout the game but in the end the Hanson potent offense proved to much to handle. Next up the JV Schooners have Dennis-Yarmouth at home on Saturday the 25th and the Varsity travels to Hanover that night. Good Luck Schooners!

Hanson JV 22 Schooners JV 0
Schooners JV put their undefeated record on the line Saturday against a tough Hanson team but unfortunately came out on the losing end 22-0. The Offense and defense fought hard all afternoon.

Schooners Varsity 8 Pembroke 8
Schooners varsity played a tough Pembroke team to an 8-8 tie yesterday. After a sluggish first half the Schooners settled down and were much more aggressive on D in the final two quarters to keep Pembroke off the board. Harrison MacKinlay provided a spark with key runs in the second half and Brady Bailey, once again, had several impressive runs off his own and scored the only Schooners touchdown of the day.

Duxbury 28 Schooners Varsity 20
Another hard fought game by the Schooners as they lost a tough one against a hard hitting Duxbury team 28-20. With Duxbury up 22-6 near halftime and the game threatening to get out of hand, Brady Bailey intercepted a pass and ran it 60 yards for a touchdown which narrowed the score to 22-14. The defense continued their stellar play all afternoon as key tackles were made by Adam Sifflard, Harrison MacKinlay, Jon Thorbahn, Jake Calnan, Jayce Lambert, Rob Petrucelli, Ethan Robbins, Colin Orleman and Tommy Wallace.

The offense was able to stay close and at one point the Schooners were only down 22-20. Great blocking by the offensive line led by Andrew Bostrom, Sifflard, Lambert, Wallace, and CJ Richardson allowed Brady Bailey to kick the sweep outside and use his great speed to run for two long towndowns. Other keys runs were made by Lambert, Thorobahn and Connor McKay. The Schooners played hard till the end but just came up a little short.

Schooner JV 6 Hingham 6
Great game by the JV Schooners on Saturday as they lined up against a tough Hingham team and came out with a tie. It was a true team effort. Great job.....Steve Brown, Colin Orleman, Ethan Robbins, Sean King, William Milne, Selvany Cardoso, Justin Sweeney, Ben Hedstrom, Christian Raeside, Rob Petrucelli, Cormac Perry, Nicholas Perfetuo, Joe Pellegrino, Ben Bostrom, William Murphy, Matthew McDonald, Cole McCauley, Ted Lovell, Christopher Hartford, Nicholas Giftakis, Miguel Garzon, Neil Fisher, Joey Costa, Cameron CoKinos, Cameron Boure, Brewer Barnes, Lucas Barnes and William Murphy.

Schooners Varsity 28 West Bridgewater 0
Congratulations to the Varsity Schooners for their 28-0 last weekend over West Bridgewater. The first play from scrimmage was a 25 yard pass completion from Adam Sifflard to Harrison MacKinlay which helped to set the tone for the day. The offense behind Quarterback Brady Bailey and running backs Connor McKay and Jon Thorbahn was dominant and the front line and ends anchored by Jake Calnan, Jayce Lambert, Andrew Bostrom, and Tommy Wallace were opening holes all day.

The offense continued to have contributions from the entire Schooner squad and the Gold, White and Blue defenses managed to keep West Bridgewater out of the end zone with key plays from a host of Norwell players that included Steve Brown, Colin Orleman, Ethan Robbins, Sean King, William Milne, Selvany Cardoso, Justin Sweeney, Ben Hedstrom, Christian Raeside, Rob Petrucelli, Cormac Perry, Nicholas Perfetuo, Joe Pellegrino, Ben Bostrom, William Murphy, Matthew McDonald, Cole McCauley, Ted Lovell, Christopher Hartford, Nicholas Giftakis, Miguel Garzon, Neil Fisher, Joey Costa, Cameron CoKinos, Cameron Boure, Brewer Barnes, Lucas Barnes and William Murphy. It was a true team effort. The Schooners next game is home on Saturday September 28th against Hull.

Congratulations to the JV Schooners for another impressive win on the road Saturday 28-6 over Whitman. The offense was once again dominant on the ground with great execution and the defense was solid throughout the game.
